In a powerful display of unity, faith, and cultural richness, approximately 4,000 faithful gathered at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Falls Church Sept. 21, 2025 to participate in the Hispanic Heritage Mass and Festival, as part of the commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

“Today we gather around the altar of the Lord to hear his Word and participate in the banquet of the Eucharist. But this Sunday has a special brilliance because, together with the entire church, we also celebrate the richness of our Hispanic heritage. We recognize and thank God for the gifts that our cultures, our languages, our traditions and our families bring to the life of the church here in the United States. It is a moment of faith, of gratitude, and also of commitment.”
